Ensuring Optimal Air Quality at Faith Christian Church

Project Overview:
Faith Christian Church required an advanced ventilation system to handle the large space and high occupancy of their auditorium, while meeting energy efficiency regulations.
The existing system struggled to maintain optimal air quality, leading to discomfort during peak occupancy. The church needed a solution that would both improve comfort and comply with regulatory standards.

Project Overview:
The existing system lacked the capacity to handle the high volume of air required for the large auditorium, especially during peak attendance. Additionally, it failed to meet air quality standards, creating an uncomfortable environment. A new solution needed to balance air quality, comfort, and energy efficiency while complying with stringent guidelines.
System Evaluation, Analysis & Custom Solution:
Grotec carefully evaluated the church’s needs and the limitations of the existing system. After assessing the building’s layout, occupancy levels, and ventilation requirements, they proposed a tailored rooftop packaged system.
This system included features such as fresh air intake, an economy cycle, and exhaust air components to ensure optimal air quality throughout the auditorium.
An economy cycle was designed to reduce energy consumption during off-peak hours, while the fresh air intake and exhaust systems worked together to maintain a constant flow of clean, fresh air.
The design also ensured that the system could meet high-demand periods and comply with the church’s strict energy efficiency and air quality regulations.

Outcome:
The newly installed ventilation system significantly improved air quality and comfort in the church’s auditorium. It not only adhered to regulatory energy efficiency guidelines but also reduced energy consumption, delivering substantial long-term operational savings. The system’s scalable design ensures the church can easily adapt to changes in building use or occupancy in the future, providing flexibility and longevity.
